Hyped up language around the student debt forgiveness program recently announced by the Biden Administration is trending in user behavior. Everything from “I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay someone else’s entire student debt!” to “This is the most comprehensive student debt forgiveness package in history!” seems to be dominating the narrative around this particular program.
The reality of the student debt forgiveness program is that it is issued as an “Executive Order” and once again, like so many EO’s we’ve seen declared over the last few years falls short of the practices that are implemented should student loan debt be forgiven. Yes yes I know we’re not huge fans of constitutional government but it does expressly states, “No money shall be drawn from the Treasury but in consequence of appropriations made by law.” This will be challenged by the Supreme Court, just like Covid-Shot-By-Executive-Order or Eviction-Moratorium-By-Executive-Order were challenged and this student loan forgiveness program will most likely be tied up for a long while before, and if, we see anything come of it.
Also, Twitter is suing Elon Musk. What!? Why!? Recently Pieter Zatak, the most sought after securities expert disclosed the breaches that took place on Twitter, our favorite little “the social media engine that could” platform. Since Zatak probably comes with a huge price tag, how was little ole Twitter, at the time steered by Jack Dorsey, able to afford him? Could it be that Elon Musk helped to pad that big salary? Is this why Twitter, now the most scorned platform in current Narrative Media is suing Musk? For breach of contract or privacy or something like that? Zatak disclosed recently that there were major security breaches in Twitter, and that foreign agents were being placed at Twitter. What other US Companies are foreign agents being escorted into?
