VA: A Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge grants a temporary injunction filed by three parents that requires Loudoun County Public Schools make masks optional IMMEDIATELY – not Tuesday when LCPS had planned.
Three Loudoun County parents filed suit against the Loudoun County School Board arguing the mask policy caused their children irreparable harm (school suspensions and others) and claimed a school board does not have the constitutional authority to implement a mask mandate. The judge agrees.
The parents were represented by a powerhouse legal team with attorneys who previously worked for former President Trump’s Dept of Justice. Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares’ attorneys assisted, intervening on the case against the school board.
Virginia’s Senate has passed SB739 which includes Senator Petersen’s amendment allowing parents to opt-out of wearing masks in schools. The bill now moves to the House where republicans have the majority and the bill is likely to pass and then be signed by Governor Youngkin.
It passed and was signed by Governor Youngkin: https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/virginia/youngkin-mask-mandate-virginia-schools-optional-legislation-signing/65-d78154b9-c28d-4348-bf6e-d59fd1918a8a

Lawsuits change a situation. Lawsuits change or create laws. Not voting. Not convoys.
Timing of course is everything as this just comes out today as this is covered today (Walensky privately confirms she won’t relax school mask guidance).
In this tweet-capture, Fauci states that taking the masks off kids is risky. https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1494326775765110788
The fact that Walensky and Fauci are working lockstep to double down on suggesting the school children stay muzzled, shows they are working in lockstep to wage a media war on actual legislation that was successfully passed.
